Specific features: Sedbergh School boarding school with almost 100% full boarders, which offers a variety of activities: For instance the students can do 34 different kinds of sport. Additionally the school has three orchestras, five choirs and several theatre companies.
Accommodation: The girls are accommodated in altogether three and the boys in six boarding houses. There are five to six tutors in each house, who care for the students and of whom one lives in every house. The houses do all have common rooms, a common kitchen and a refectory, since in contrast to many other schools the meals at Sedbergh School are not taken in a central dining hall but in the houses. There are partly single and partly double rooms. They are cosy and suitably equipped – with beds, lockable wardrobes, internet access and partly also washbasins.
